Sunday June 20th – On our short (1o mile) hike from Two Medicine to East Glacier we were joined by four bighorn sheep. We got within 10 feet of then and they followed us all along the ridge… stopping and examining us closely as we eagerly snapped photographs. They are brilliant animals gracefully balancing their massive horns and bounding up rocky escarpments.
In East Glacier we enjoyed some chowing down & chillaxing with other thru-hikers before making our camp “on the eve of the storm of the century” according to one local. Thankfully it turned out to just be heavy rainfall but we stayed warm and dry in our Hubba Hubba tent.
