Day 131 – We entered spectacular fields of purple lupine and passed by the magestic 3 Sisters. We camped near Obsidian Falls amongst rippled black glass and then laboured over lava that was like walking on field of baseballs. But thankfully we arrived to Big Lake Youth Camp – mile 2000! – on Day 132 with no broken ankles. The camp was very hiker-friendly and we were able to shower plus Reddy treated us to ice cream! And generous Lloyd, a Trail Angel from Bend, gave us a lift into town.

2000 Miles!
