After our adventures in Wales we had a lovely week chillaxing in ‘Nam w/the fam. We ate phenomenal phood, toured Blenheim Palace, picked blackberries w/Nat, read Khaled Hosseini’s latest book (goodness me, we need some feminists in the Middle East), and tried to deceive ourselves into thinking it was autumn so we wouldn’t get so depressed about the miserable weather.

Then on Friday the whole Pizzo clan headed to Greenbelt – a festival “working to express love, creativity and justice in the arts and contemporary culture in the light of the Christian gospel.” It was way rad. We danced to José González and heard talks by Pete Rollins, Brian McLaren and other cutting-edge Christians. Among my favourite talks: “Slavery is Biblical” and “Changing Something so that everything remains the same.” And lucky you can hear them yourself by going to their website.

And now we’re back in York…. kind of weird since we’ve been away a month, but good as well.
