Aberystwyth, Llangollen & Eisteddfod*

We spent the weekend in Aberystwyth, where we painted this for the 24-7 Prayer Room with Lindy – the phenomenal woman who’s now heading 24-7 in Wales. Despite a bit of sun, the wind made it too cold to shed our coats, much less swim in the sea… But at least in the photograph it looks warm and summery. I also met a huge Carman fan who thought I was 42. And Dan finally found some flumps!

Then we met up w/Mark (tech wizard & relationship lecturer extrodinare) & his wife in Llangollen, a picturesque Welsh village, for a hike and picnic on rocks over the river. Tonight we enjoyed an Indian feast and quality conversation (& marshmallows) round the fire.

And tomorrow we’re off to Cardiff for the National Eisteddfodd. We’ll be helping out at a 24 hour cafe there and enjoying oodles of Welsh culture.
